A photograph at night of a seated man in a saffron-orange garment and a long orange-beaded mala necklace with large gold beads, holding papers and smiling as he speaks with a young woman in a white top and white dupatta who is kneeling beside a gilded lion-headed armrest on a golden throne. Behind him a floral garland arrangement of red, yellow and purple flowers decorates the seat. Around them several people in orange and white ritual garments, some with white forehead markings, stand in a crowd, with a woman in white holding papers and a woman in a black top and patterned skirt nearby. Blue and white lights glow in the dark background.2013-03-10Photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a long rudraksha mala with multiple beads, with a white tilak on his forehead and long swept-back hair. He sits on a gold-finished throne beside a peacock-feather fan and a silver ceremonial staff topped with a finial. He receives a sheet of paper from a woman kneeling before him, she wears a white top and an orange-red shawl with printed text and has a hair clip. Red-painted wooden lattice screens and gilded decorations form the backdrop. The scene looks like a satsang or darshan moment.2014-09-13A seated figure with long dark swept-back hair, a painted forehead mark, saffron-orange robe, and layered rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold-toned beads blesses a man in white with an orange shawl by touching his head. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, orange robe, rudraksha malas and beaded ornaments match the expected presentation. The figure sits on a gilded throne before red draped cloth, holding a black staff with brass bells. Behind them, a man in white dhoti with gold border and orange sash waits holding paper. The man receiving the blessing wears white with orange shawl and bows his head.2012-09-09A seated figure on a gilded golden throne with lion-head armrests and a peacock-feather fan behind him wears a red-orange shawl, a long gold-and-black bead necklace, and a white tilak on his forehead, while a shaved-headed devotee in a white shirt kneels and bows toward him, touching the red shawl draped over the armrest. A silver staff with a finial stands beside the throne, and a woman with a tilak is partly visible at the right edge. The setting is a red-and-white room with wooden latticework and an air conditioner. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified by his long swept-back hair, ornate gold bead garland and saffron-orange shawl, receiving a devotee's obeisance.2014-08-27 +1 copiesDecember 31 20152015-12-31May 06 20162016-05-06November 10 20132013-11-10December 31 20152015-12-31July 19 20132013-07-19May 09 20142014-05-09September 11 20102010-09-11A seated man with long dark hair, a white forehead mark and a maroon-red garment with a gold necklace of large beads places his palm on the forehead of a smiling man with short grey hair who wears a white t-shirt and a red-and-white scarf printed with text. The seated figure's outstretched arm reaches over a silver staff topped with a finial, while behind them is a gold ornamental object and red drapes. The image is a photograph of a blessing exchange.
