On the left, a shaved-headed man in an orange robe with white tilak marks on his forehead and arms and a gold bead necklace kneels and reaches toward a small boy in a red shirt with a rudraksha mala, who sits on the lap of a woman in a red patterned shawl. The woman holds up long dry grass stalks above the boy's head. Behind them, a man in a striped shirt and a boy in white with an orange sash reading 'Nithyanandaya namaha' watch, and a gold and red throne is visible in the background. The man in orange does not show qualifying presentation cues for a person, so he is described by role only.2012-07-20October 28 20102010-10-28Indoor photo of an ornate seating area with a red tufted sofa trimmed in gold, and a red throne-like chair at left. He is tying or adjusting a thread on the shoulder of a boy in a white shirt with eyeglasses and an event badge. Behind the boy stands a shaven-headed man in orange robes with an orange head cloth and glasses. To the left, a man in white clothes with a rudraksha-style necklace and a young girl in an orange embroidered top and cream dupatta look on. Floral garlands in orange, pink and white decorate the golden backdrop. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), seated on the throne with long hair, orange robes and a garland.2009-12-24July 28 20172017-07-28A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with a white-striped forehead, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a large ornate gold necklace, offering water or a substance from his hand to a young shaved-head boy in white dhoti and rudraksha mala who holds out cupped palms. Behind them, a kneeling attendant in orange holds a golden vessel, a woman in a cream sari with a rudraksha mala stands at right, and a red curtain and white and pink flower garland frame the scene. Appearance cues (long swept hair, saffron robes, rudraksha and gold necklace) match the page's a person label, so this is a probable identification.2009-07-13
