A festive outdoor procession moves past a grey concrete-block building with a green corrugated roof. Dense crowds of men in white dhotis and shirts fill the frame, many with bare upper bodies in the foreground. Drummers on the left beat large drums, and a bare-chested man in front wears a saffron cloth and orange headband. Several tall poles carry orange flags and multicoloured parasol-style canopies with blue, red and gold panels and fringed edges, while people in front hold brass trays or plates of offerings. A green leafy branch crosses the lower centre, and a white bus is visible at the upper right. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance.
