Three young men in saffron-orange robes sit before a homa fire pit at night, with flowers scattered on yellow steps. The man on the left has white stripes on his arms and a rudraksha-style mala, the man in the centre wears a long rust-coloured shawl and a long necklace with a white tilak on his forehead, and the man on the right holds a brass bowl and a ladle-like spoon near the flames. Marigold-red and white flowers surround the fire, and a silver oil lamp sits on the steps. The fire blazes against dark foliage.

Three bare-chested men in saffron-orange robes and matching orange head wraps sit on a red cloth before a brass ritual setup. The man on the left has long dreadlocked hair, white ash markings on his forehead and arms, and a yellow-and-orange shawl, and he reaches toward an ornate gold-and-brass casket decorated with white and pink flowers. The man in the centre wears a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark, and the man on the right, wearing spectacles and a long beard, also wears a rudraksha mala. Brass bowls, a kalasha-like vessel, a steel pot, fruit and small oil lamps sit before them, with a figure in white at the right edge. The scene appears to be a puja or ritual outdoors near greenery.

A photograph of a homa fire ceremony in a tent setting. A fire burns in a yellow-brick fire pit with kindling. A man in a purple shawl with a gold chain pours or offers an item from a spoon into the fire, while a man in orange and red dhoti-style clothing with a shawl sits at right holding a small vessel. Behind them, a man in red and orange clothes holds a basket of offerings, and a woman in white and gold stands at left. Steel bowls, a brass lamp and rows of white cups or shell-like offerings sit on shelves at right, with a small deity murti visible at far right.

A photograph of a homa fire ritual through an ornate carved wooden doorway. A fire burns in a yellow brick fire pit in the foreground. Two saffron-robed sannyasis perform the ritual. The seated man on the right wears an orange turban and orange cloth, is bare-chested with a long beard and ash marks, and pours an offering from a small metal vessel into the fire, with a brass bowl and a plate of offerings and kumkum before him. A second young sannyasi with long matted hair, orange cloth, beaded necklaces and ash on his forehead sits behind the fire pit. Potted plants and pink flowers appear behind them.

A homa fire ceremony in a tent shrine. A brick-lined fire pit holds burning wood with flames rising, surrounded by ash and flower petals. A shaved-headed man in rust-red dhoti and gold necklace sits at left. A seated man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits centrally, with a man in purple shawl and gold chain at right reaching toward the fire with a ladle or offering. Standing priests in white and saffron-red garments with rudraksha malas stand behind. Brass lamps, silver and gold ritual vessels, decorated deity figures, and trays of white offering cups fill the background. Five to six people are visible.
