A photograph of a night-time temple ritual centred on a large black stone Nandi bull statue being bathed with water. A bare-chested young man in orange cloth and a rudraksha mala pours water from a gold kalasha onto the bull's head, with water streaming down its carved sides. Several other people in orange robes stand nearby, including a boy with arms folded and a woman in orange at right, with a brass pot and bucket on the ground and marigold garlands at left.

A black stone Nandi bull statue sits on a red stone platform with stepped tiers, being bathed with liquid poured from a brass pot. A young boy with long dark hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange wrap, pours from a gold-coloured vessel over the bull's head and neck. Beside him, another young boy in an orange cloth raises an arm near the bull. Brass pots, bowls and a small brass lamp are arranged on the steps, with stone lingam-shaped stands and white cloths behind. Yellow liquid runs down the statue, indicating an abhishekam ritual.

A night-time abhishekam at a black stone Nandi bull statue. A young priest in an orange-red dhoti and bare chest, wearing a rudraksha mala and a white necklace, pours water from a golden kalasha onto the bull's head while water sprays across its face. A second young man in an orange cloth stands at the right edge, partly visible. The bull statue is not a person and no a person candidate is physically present in the frame.

At night, a shirtless man in orange cloth pours water from a golden vessel over a large black stone Nandi bull statue, which is wet and glistening. Beside him, a young man in an orange wrap and an orange head cloth holds a lit oil lamp, and two boys in orange wraps stand with folded arms at right. Behind them, a camera operator and another man in a light green shirt watch. Dark foliage and a stone pillar form the backdrop, with an oil lamp and flower offerings at the lower left. Lamps and a golden kalasha suggest an abhishekam ritual.
