A photo taken in a red-walled temple courtyard with yellow walls and pillars under bright sunlight. In the centre, a man wearing a maroon turban and a maroon-and-gold-striped dhoti with a garland of marigolds stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside him, a bald man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands with hands folded. To the right, a bearded elder in orange robes stands near a red barred gate, and another bearded man in orange sits at the gate with hands together. On the left, a man in white shirt holds a camera, and an elder in orange with white beard is seen in the foreground. Several other people in orange robes are visible in the background.2015-10-03Several saffron-robed sannyasis stand before a small red-painted shrine inside a temple, its doorway framed by red garlands and a shrine hung with flower strands. A figure in the foreground wears a dark red turban and a white-and-orange flower garland, with his palms pressed together in namaskar and a yellow-bordered red cloth wrapped around him. Beside him, a bald man in white-bordered saffron wears a red-and-gold wrap and holds a staff, while an older bearded man in orange robes and a saffron shawl raises his hands in greeting. A bearded sadhu in orange robes and rudraksha beads gestures toward the shrine. Several other onlookers in casual clothes stand in the background.2015-10-03Photograph inside a red-painted shrine with red iron grille gates, where a red-cloth-turbaned figure seen from behind with a white flower garland and a marigold-orange and gold-bordered shawl stands facing a small inner shrine draped with red and white flower garlands. To the left a bald man in saffron robes and glasses stands beside an older white-bearded man in orange, while on the right a bearded sadhu with long hair, orange shawl and rudraksha beads stands at the grille. In the foreground, a figure seen from behind wears an orange and yellow wrap, a red turban, a white flower garland and a yellow marigold garland, with hands folded in prayer. Beside them stands an elderly man with long white beard and hair in orange robes and a rudraksha mala, hands clasped. A younger man in a yellow t-shirt stands at the right, and another orange-clad person is partly visible at the left edge. The turbaned figure is an appearance-based probable candidate for a person, identified by the red turban, flower garlands and orange wrap, though the face is not visible. Four people are visible.2015-10-03October 03 20152015-10-03February 12 20132013-02-12A photograph of a Kumbh Mela camp event with several saffron-robed sadhus. In the centre, a man with long grey hair and a full white beard wears an orange-red robe, rudraksha beads and a gold pendant, and stands with palms pressed together in greeting. Beside him a smiling sadhu wears a rust-orange turban and rudraksha mala. Other saffron-clad holy men and a young man in red with glasses stand nearby, and a dark relief carving of a deity is on the back wall under bright lights. Several orange-clad figures have tilak on their foreheads.2016-05-05Two men stand in a red-painted shrine doorway with iron grille railings, in front of a small deity murti draped with red and orange flower garlands. The man on the left wears a maroon turban with a tilak mark, a white and orange flower garland, a brown rudraksha-style bead necklace, and a maroon and gold-bordered dhoti, with his hands folded at his waist and a smile. The man on the right has a white beard, a tilak on his forehead, an orange robe and an orange shawl. The left figure has distinctive turban, malas and saffron-toned clothing, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in person, standing beside an elderly sadhu in orange.2015-10-03October 03 20152015-10-03June 05 20122012-06-05April 05 20142014-04-05
