Around him stand young boys in orange turbans and orange dhoti-style robes with gold borders, several with folded hands, and older men in white dhotis and white turbans at the edges. A boy kneels at the base of the throne, and a golden lamp stand with a flame sits beside the throne. A bearded man in saffron robes and a red-and-white garland sits with joined palms on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, beneath a multicoloured fringed canopy. In front, a brass kalasha with white flowers and red garlands sits on a decorated circular frame. Ground in the foreground is covered with a white cloth scattered with red petals, green leaves and a yellow-and-red kolam-style pattern. Behind, a row of men in white dhotis and shawls, some bare-chested with gold chains, stand with hands folded; one holds a microphone. A woman in a rust-coloured sari and a saffron-robed attendant stand nearby. Pending seated figure is an appearance-based candidate for a person, and the page names him as present.2018-03-02A long-haired man with a swept-back dark hairstyle sits on an ornate gilded throne with a flower-garlanded arch of yellow, red and white blossoms behind him, beneath a golden umbrella canopy. He wears an orange-brown dhoti-style garment, a long rudraksha mala, and a heavy gold necklace, and gestures with one hand while speaking into a microphone on a stand. Beside him stands a trident (trishul) and a decorated golden throne seat. On the left, a gold-clad figure of a deity murti sits on a blue-and-white draped throne, wearing an orange head cloth, yellow-orange drapery, and a gold-trimmed seat. Golden relief sculptures of figures decorate the wall behind the stage. Ornamental fabric fringes hang from the left canopy and a red-and-gold ceremonial banner stands beside the murti.2016-07-19A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, wearing a red and white flower garland and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. Around the throne, men in white dhotis and shirts stand with red-and-gold shawls, a boy in white shirt stands at left, and women in cream and lavender saris stand at right beside a golden trident on a pole. The backdrop is a glowing red stage with gold and bronze discs. The throne setting suggests a formal satsang or discourse, with the bright red carpet and white-robed attendants present.2015-09-06A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate golden throne with a red velvet cushion and carved lion-head armrests, holding a long yellow, white and red marigold garland across his lap. A younger person with long hair pinned up and a red-gold dhoti stands before him with palms joined in a respectful gesture, a garland around their neck. A figure in a white dhoti with gold border kneels at the lower left, and a shaved-headed person in saffron appears at the right edge. Tall garlands with yellow, red and purple flowers hang behind the throne against a white cloth backdrop with carved stone walls. The seated man shows a person cues: orange robes, rudraksha mala and a ceremonial throne.2016-01-03A photograph of a ceremony on a stage decorated with a flower-covered throne.
