A priest in a rust-red dhoti and shawl with a gold border performs aarti before a deity murti, lifting a lit lamp with a flame in his right hand while holding a bell in his left. The murti is adorned with a large crown, silver ornaments, a silver necklace and dense garlands of red, yellow and white flowers, seated on a golden vahana with an elephant-like form on a green cloth and purple base. An orange and blue fringed canopy stands above, with a brass bell hanging at the right side. The priest wears a white tilak on his forehead.2014-02-05February 05 20142014-02-05February 05 20142014-02-05September 05 20132013-09-05 +1 copiesNight ceremony at a decorated shrine: a shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha-style cord stands at left, holding a lit oil lamp toward a large ganesha-form deity murti. The deity wears a tall gold crown, ornate jewelled garlands, a red-and-white garland and dhoti-like cloth, with a golden elephant-shaped pedestal and yellow marigold garlands draped around the altar. An ornate silver-gilt arch and an orange canopy frame the scene. The clothing is saffron and orange, and the altar is accented with magenta and teal cloth. The lamp suggests an aarti. No other people are visible.2013-09-05 +1 copiesPhoto 11724256December 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 06 20162016-12-06December 23 20162016-12-23Night photograph of a deity murti decorated with dense garlands of red, white and yellow flowers, standing in a gilded arched shrine with a dark cloth backdrop and a fringed canopy overhead.
