Several devotees in white and saffron stand nearby, including a young man in white with an orange shawl and shaved head at center, and a man in pink shirt with folded hands. Older men in white shirts and dhotis watch from the left. Red curtains and a painted cloth hang behind. The seated saffron-clad figure's identity is not established from appearance, so no a person identification is made.2008-03-26December 13 20122012-12-13 +1 copiesAugust 02 20162016-08-02May 10 20142014-05-10A seated man in a golden ornate throne with red cushions wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a white flower garland and yellow-orange trim, bare-chested with a sandal-marked forehead and long swept-back hair, his feet resting on a red cushion. Around him sit devotees on a patterned red carpet: a woman in white with a blonde braid, an Asian woman in a white jacket and blue trousers, women in orange-red saris wearing rudraksha malas, and a shaved-headed man in saffron. Brass bowls with flower petals sit on the floor in front, and a speaker and wall sconces are behind them. Several people are seen from behind in the foreground.2014-01-11August 04 20142014-08-04December 28 20122012-12-28A photograph inside an ornate room with red and patterned carpet. A figure in orange robes and a rudraksha-style necklace sits on a gilded golden throne with red cushions, with bare feet resting on a red cloth. Before the throne, a seated attendant in white kneels and tends to the feet, while a tray of rose petals and small offerings sits nearby. Other seated people in orange and white robes sit on the floor, one holding papers, and a man in a white shirt sits at the lower left. A camera tripod and speakers stand against the wall. The figure on the throne shows Swamiji (probable) cues: long hair swept up, ornate golden necklaces and orange clothing, labelled as the person seated in the honoured position. Padapuja or a similar foot-worship ritual appears to be underway.2014-01-14Photo of a padapuja-style ritual on a gold-and-red throne. A man in orange robes with long swept-back hair sits on the gilded peetha, his bare foot extended toward a kneeling man in a white shirt who covers his face with his hands in reverence. Beside him a woman in a maroon and cream sari with bangles and a black beaded necklace stands with palms pressed together, holding flowers. Behind the throne a bald man with glasses wears an orange shawl and a gold necklace, and another bald man in orange stands with a garland. A gold tray holds fruit and flowers. Several onlookers stand at the left in white and teal clothing, and a boy wears a red-and-orange kurta.2010-10-21
