Three seated deity murtis in ornate gold and green garlanded finery sit on a raised altar, with flower garlands hanging above. In the foreground, a bare-chested priest in white dhoti pours or offers water over a black Ganesha-style stone murti on a red cloth, while a second priest in white dhoti and a rudraksha-style garland sits cross-legged with brass plates of flowers, fruit and offerings in front of him. A man in a yellow shirt sits on the left with palms pressed together, and a person in a beige top and white dhoti kneels at right. Brass lamps, bells and plates of marigolds and bananas fill the scene, consistent with a puja.2021-08-25A temple puja in progress before a gilded shrine with a large deity murti dressed in green and gold garments and a crown, with flower garlands hanging at the top edge. Three men sit on the floor, shirtless and wearing white dhotis with orange borders. On the left, a man with glasses and a rudraksha mala around his neck leans forward to handle a copper kalasha placed on a wooden tray. In the centre, a bare-backed man in a white dhoti bends over the same tray, and on the right a masked man in a white dhoti kneels nearby. Brass plates, a bell and a small metal vessel rest on a red cloth in front of them, and a smaller deity figure sits on a green-draped stand to the left. The scene shows a puja with a kalasha and a tray of offerings.2021-08-20A photograph inside a yellow-walled temple room during a puja. A shaved-head priest in white dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala and a pendant, holds a lit oil lamp (aarti) over a tray of offerings. A young man in a white t-shirt and face mask kneels on a striped rug, palms together in prayer. Fruit, flower petals, brass plates and a kalasha sit on red and striped cloth. Behind them are decorated deity murtis with gold ornaments, flower garlands hang from the ceiling, and a framed photo hangs on the left wall. Two people are visible; no candidate for a person is clearly present.2021-06-04A priest sits cross-legged on a striped mat in a temple room performing puja before three deity murtis on a golden-yellow dais. He is bare-chested, wearing white dhoti and a rudraksha-style mala, holding a small bell-like vessel over an offering plate. Central figure wears a crown, ornate gold-and-red garments and garlands; the flanking deities wear yellow silk and jewelled crowns. Offerings include bananas, mangoes, flowers, a lit oil lamp and brass plates. Strings of marigold garlands hang on the yellow walls. A framed photograph on the left wall shows a figure holding a trident in a dark-toned outfit. The priest appears to be a temple priest, and nothing in the image visibly identifies him as a person.2021-07-30KAILASA SINGAPORE on 10/10/20212021-10-10 +1 copiesKAILASA SINGAPORE on 3/19/20212021-03-19
