September 17 20152015-09-17A seated man in saffron-orange robes and layered gold necklaces sits on an ornate gold-trimmed brown leather throne before maroon drapes, reaching to touch a decorated kalasha. Beside him a second man, bare-chested with a yellow shawl and white dhoti with a pink-and-gold border, leans forward holding the kalasha, which is covered in red, green and gold ornamentation with leaves on top. A gold lion-shaped figure stands by the throne and a folded red-orange cloth rests on the armrest. The setting suggests a ritual abhishekam or puja.
