The seated person wears a red-and-orange robe with gold trim, a heavy gold necklace and a rudraksha-style bead mala, a red bindi, and has long dark hair; hands are raised in a gesture of blessing while the head tilts upward. Behind the throne, two large ornate parasols in deep red with gold fringe and tassels are held aloft. To the right, attendants in saffron-orange and red garments stand holding a long trident-topped staff and a gold ceremonial mace. A chain-link fence with green foliage and a few onlookers appears in the background. The appearance-based cues of long hair, ornate gold jewellery, rudraksha beads and ceremonial robes resemble Swamiji (probable) seated in a ceremonial setting. The throne is covered with a zebra-stripe cloth, and a small potted plant sits at the lower right.2015-02-19October 11 20162016-10-11 +1 copiesJanuary 14 20182018-01-14December 03 20162016-12-03Outdoor Guru Purnima ceremony at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Bidadi. A seated central figure in saffron-brown robes wears a long red and multicoloured flower garland, heavy gold necklaces and a gold pendant, and raises one hand in blessing. He sits on an ornate silver-embossed throne on red steps, with a leopard-print cushion beneath. Behind him, attendants in saffron-orange dhotis and gold necklaces hold a large ceremonial parasol (chhatra) and stand with hands folded. Lined up on the steps, men in white shirts and white dhotis stand with palms joined in reverence. A bare-shouldered attendant holds a drum at the left, a woman in a red sari with a white-blonde hairstyle sits at the far left, and banana plants with festoons decorate the backdrop. Overall the scene shows a seated guru receiving honour in a formal temple-style procession setting.2013-07-22January 14 20182018-01-14November 16 20152015-11-16
