A foreground musician blows a long brass horn raised overhead, while others play a similar horn, a drum and a blue tambourine; several have white tilak marks, rudraksha malas and bare heads. Behind them a drummer in orange strikes a drum. The scene suggests a ceremonial band performing outdoors.2013-07-29Outdoor photo of three young men in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls with red borders, bare-chested, with white tilak marks on their foreheads and white sandalwood-style markings on their arms. They play long curved golden brass horns (natural trumpets) on a dirt ground in front of dense green trees, with a folded red cloth on the ground. Two bend forward to blow their horns while one stands at the right holding his horn to his mouth. Rudraksha-style beaded necklaces are visible.2013-11-05August 31 20142014-08-31June 09 20132013-06-09June 06 20142014-06-06Four young musicians in matching saffron-orange garments with maroon borders stand on a paved courtyard beside a red pillar and leafy tree. Three of them play long curved gold brass horns raised overhead, pressing the mouthpieces to their lips, while a fourth stands behind them, mouth closed. Each wears white sacred ash lines on the forehead and rudraksha beads around the neck. Brass bells rest on the pavement at the left edge, and an orange-walled building with pink flowers fills the background.2013-05-30Photo 11736021Four young boys in saffron and red robes sit on a red-draped platform playing long curved golden brass horns, their cheeks puffed as they blow. Two have white vibhuti marks on their foreheads, and several wear rudraksha malas. Drums with woven cords lie in the foreground. Behind them stand red curtains, a white wall with framed pictures, and rows of black chairs in a hall where other people sit on the floor.2013-12-11June 20 20182018-06-20August 31 20132013-08-31
