A night-time group ritual on a bare concrete floor. Devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas with orange shawls sit in rows, several with hands pressed in anjali, while others kneel behind plantain-leaf thalis set with small metal bowls, lamps and brass vessels. Standing attendants in white move between them, and tall bamboo poles with orange cloth pennants rise around the space. Fans and a lit backdrop frame the scene.
