He has a red tilak on his forehead, a red thread on his wrist and smiles while raising one hand. Silver repoussé carving fills the background, with pink lights at right. The man is a probable Swamiji based on the crown, saffron clothing, garland and throne cues, and is seen in person at a Navaratri darbar. One physical person is visible.2017-09-23 +1 copiesDecember 21 20162016-12-21October 11 20172017-10-11June 19 20162016-06-19September 26 20172017-09-26December 01 20172017-12-01A man seated on an ornate gold throne with a carved gilded backrest, wearing a rust-brown turban with a jewelled crest, rust-brown robes, a heavy gold necklace with a large pendant, gold waist ornaments and bangles. He has a white forehead mark and a red bindi, and raises one hand in a blessing gesture while the other rests open on the armrest. A tall gold trident stands to the left, a gold-and-yellow draped backdrop and red cushions surround him, and a striped woven mat lies on the floor. Behind him, a second, partly visible figure in a turban sits on a smaller throne. The scene suggests a seated ceremonial gathering on a stage.2017-02-22October 13 20172017-10-13August 30 20172017-08-30
