Outdoor yagna at a golden-framed homa pit where two flames rise from the brass-edged fire box. A shirtless man in saffron dhoti and orange turban, wearing a rudraksha mala, sits cross-legged and pours from a brass vessel into the fire. Beside him a seated woman in red attire tends the flames. A standing shirtless figure in orange dhoti and orange head cloth, with a rudraksha mala and gold-bordered cloth, stands before an ornate gold-and-red throne chair, bowing with hands raised to his head. In the foreground a young man in an orange dhoti and orange headcloth sits behind brass vessels and bowls. Brass kalashas, bowls and offering trays surround the pit. A white-draped deity murti and a flowered garland appear at left, with a yellow excavator and trees behind.

Outdoor homa at a temple-like courtyard under a canopy of striped fabric. In the foreground, a bright fire burns in a yellow-brick fire pit on a colourful cloth. On the left, a man seated on a gold throne with red cushions is garlanded with yellow and white flower garlands and wears a red-brown garment, hands folded in front of him. Behind the fire, a figure in orange robes and a tall orange turban pours or offers into the flames while another figure in orange holds a brass vessel. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand nearby, and a man in white dhoti and shirt holds an offering. Red pillars and a corrugated roof frame the space, with green trees behind.

Inside a temple hall, a fire pit (homa/yagna) burns in the foreground with flames rising from a yellow-brick base. A seated man in a red-orange cloth and rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions. Three attendants in saffron-orange and red-orange dhotis and turbans stand before a wooden door, one holding a metal plate and another a vessel, while a fourth figure in red-orange presses near them. Brass pots decorated with mango leaves and coconuts sit on a pedestal beside oil lamps (oil lamps) burning at the doorway, and a sandalwood-brown carved wooden door is behind them.

Night-time homa at an open-sided tent with a white canopy and pink fringe. A standing devotee in orange saffron wrap and orange headband, bare-backed with pearl necklace and bangles, faces a square fire pit where flames rise from a brass vessel. A seated man in a dark red-orange robe and rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, lit by a bright lamp. A kneeling attendant in orange headband and saffron cloth tends the fire, holding a brass plate. Oil lamps, brass vessels and pink flower petals sit on the mat around the fire pit. The seated figure's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so it is described by role only.

A photograph of a fire ritual at night. Two bare-backed men in orange cloths and orange head cloths stand in the foreground, one holding a metal vessel, beside a large flame. Seated on an ornate gold throne with a peacock-style back is a man in a rust-orange turban and orange robe, wearing a long gold-beaded garland and a gold necklace, with a red-orange mark on his forehead. The setting has colourful hanging decorations overhead. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears a turban, orange robes, a long garland and ornate gold, matching the page's reference to Swamiji at this event.

Photograph of a fire ritual at dusk seen from behind two saffron-clad figures with orange turbans in the foreground, one with a tall trident-like staff beside them. Beyond the flames of a fire pit, a seated figure in an orange-red robe, a red-orange turban with a jewelled ornament, and a long white-and-gold beaded garland sits on an ornate gold throne with carved golden makara-like sides, resting one hand on a leopard-print cushion. Bronze vessels sit near the fire. Visible people count is three.
