May 03 20162016-05-03December 06 20162016-12-06Interior of a red-draped tent with a large ornate gilded throne at left. A seated figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange-red shawl and a green-and-red garland, sits on the throne smiling while devotees approach. A bald man in a white dhoti with a red sash stands in front, and a woman in a red sari with a red-and-gold garland kneels nearby. Many devotees in saris and white ritual clothes, including women in green, teal and red, line a red carpet. Brass oil lamps and a white air conditioning unit stand beside the throne. The mood is a darshan line at a throne-seat blessing.2016-05-02A photograph of a ceremonial gathering in a tented hall, with a large ornate gold-and-red throne backed by white and red floral garlands at left. A person seated on the throne wears an orange-red garment, a multi-coloured floral garland and a gold necklace, and is receiving folded hands and a brass offering plate. Around them, devotees in white clothes and orange shawls stand close; a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha mala holds a brass plate, and an older man in white looks on. Electric fans and small offerings sit on a side table. The cues are a visible throne, garland and gold adornments; the person seated on the throne appears to have long hair and orange-red clothing, so the appearance is a probable Swamiji (probable) candidate, present in person, while the surrounding people are devotees.2009-07-07May 03 20162016-05-03July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph inside a decorated tent-like hall where a seated figure in orange robes and a long garland of flowers sits on an ornate gold throne with a canopy and red cushion, backed by carved golden panels and a deity murti relief. Devotees crowd around the throne: a bare-chested man in white dhoti with red-and-gold shawl, men in white kurta and red sashes, women in red and orange saris with bangles and jewellery, and a woman in a grey-blue sari with a green and pink dupatta. A camera on a tripod at left records the scene. The person on the throne has long dark hair and a rudraksha-style garland, but the appearance is uncertain for identification, so the figure is described only by role as a seated figure receiving devotees.2016-05-02July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a crowded temple darshan scene before an ornate golden throne (peetha) with carved golden arches and a deity murti carved in relief on the backdrop. A seated figure in red and gold garments wears a purple and white garland and a beaded necklace, with devotees pressing close. Around them, men in orange and saffron robes, a man in white dhoti with gold border, women in saris of pink, purple, yellow and blue, and a woman in a pink-and-gold blouse reach toward the seated figure. A tripod-mounted camera stands at the left edge and a white air cooler at right. The seated figure is not visibly identifiable as a particular person, so no identification is made.2016-05-03July 17 20082008-07-17August 02 20092009-08-02May 22 20162016-05-22
