The seated figure wears a long multi-strand rudraksha mala, ornate gold-toned beads and a red bindi, and sits on a red cushioned seat before a backdrop of marigold and rose garlands. Behind them stand a silver trident, a jewelled canopy and a gold deity murti, and a green draped cloth hangs at left. The setting suggests a deeksha or blessing exchange. Two people are visible.2015-07-17A seated man in an orange-red draped robe with a golden border and a brown rudraksha mala around his neck places his right hand on the forehead of a man in a white shirt with an orange-red scarf. His hair is swept back in a bun and he has a white tilak on his forehead. The recipient closes his eyes and holds his left hand near his face. Behind them, a golden-clad deity murti is decorated with yellow and red flower garlands, and two women in white with red borders stand at the right. An air conditioner and a sea-wave picture sit in the background. Appearance-based label: a person, giving a blessing in person, with the bun, orange-red robe and rudraksha mala as cues.2013-09-13July 17 20152015-07-17A seated man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with long red and yellow flower garlands and a gold chain, marked with a red bindi and tilak, lightly touches the forehead of a kneeling devotee in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala. The seated man holds a small object in one hand while the devotee's hands rest on a wooden stool. Behind them are a large marigold and rose garland backdrop, a gold ornamental umbrella, a silver trident and a gold lion-headed sculpture. The setting suggests a samaya deeksha initiation ceremony. a person is the seated figure, shown with ceremonial garlands, saffron clothing and a gold necklace.2015-07-17A photograph of a bearded man with long dark hair in a rust-orange sannyasi wrap and a thick rudraksha-style mala blessing a clean-shaven man in a white shirt with an orange lanyard. The blessing man's hand rests on the other's forehead while the white-shirted man raises his own hand. Gold deity statues, a gold staff and a red curtain stand behind them. Swamiji (probable) is the man in orange and brown robes with the long hair and mala, giving a blessing, so swamiji is in_person. Only two physical people are visible.2016-09-09 +1 copiesJuly 17 20152015-07-17Indoor ritual scene before a richly decorated shrine with gold-embroidered deity murti wearing layered gold necklaces and garlands, potted green plants and a maroon draped table. A bare-shouldered figure with long swept-back hair and a dense rudraksha mala places a hand on the forehead of a man in white kurta with a red shawl, who stands with palms joined and eyes closed. A woman in white and red sits in the foreground, a woman in gold sari stands at right, and a man in white is partly visible at top. A golden ceremonial staff stands beside the group. a person (long hair, rudraksha mala, bare-shouldered red cloth) performs the blessing.2014-12-24May 09 20122012-05-09October 25 20152015-10-25A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over bare shoulders and a long rudraksha-style bead necklace with a gold-toned ceremonial pendant. He has long swept-back dark hair and a tilak-like mark on his forehead and is smiling as he places his right hand on the forehead of a shaved-headed man in white ritual clothing with an orange shawl. Behind them, two men in white dhoti and shirt wear orange shawls and lanyards, and a video camera operator is visible at top center. A brass oil lamp, a small potted plant and a dark red draped backdrop are in the setting. The seated man's appearance matches the page's Swamiji reference through several cues (long swept-back hair, ornate gold throne, saffron shawl, bead necklace), so this is a probable Swamiji in an act of blessing a devotee. Five or more people are visible including partially visible figures.2015-07-19
