A tall, cylindrical copper-coloured pole rises diagonally against a pale blue sky, its shaft wrapped in twisted rope-like ridges and topped with an ornate, carved wooden or metal crown-like fixture with red accents and a small green plant. Thin wires run down from the top. A dark corrugated roof edge and a warm lamp fixture appear at the left edge. No people are visible; the pole looks like a flagstaff or ritual pillar viewed from below at dusk.2013-03-10August 31 20142014-08-31Low-angle photo of a tall copper dhvaja stambha (flagstaff) rising against a clear blue sky, with coconut palm fronds and a banana-leaf and coconut-frond bundle wrapped around its base.
