A priest in a rust-orange turban and matching orange-red robe, with a rudraksha mala and gold armband, sits cross-legged behind a yellow brick fire pit holding a flaming lamp over ritual offerings. Wood sticks burn in the pit beside a brass bowl of orange liquid and a tray of pink petals. To the right, a draped black altar bears pink and red flower garlands, and a gold-and-magenta throne stands in the background beside two standing statues in orange and white garments. Pink petals are scattered across the floor, indicating a homa or puja ceremony.

A priest in a rust-red dhoti and orange shawl, with a rudraksha mala and a red turban, kneels beside a square yellow brick fire pit where a flame burns on ash and petals. He holds a brass bowl and a ladle. Behind him stands an empty ornate gold throne upholstered in magenta velvet. On the right, a dark green draped platform is heaped with white and red flower garlands and pink petals, with brass oil lamps and a kalasha-like vessel nearby. Two attendants in white and orange stand in the background near a window, and a decorated marble floor with a floral mosaic lies beneath the offerings. This appears to be a homa or yagna setting.

A bare-chested man in an orange turban and orange dhoti kneels at a brick fire pit, feeding sticks and petals into a small flame with his right hand. Long dark hair falls over his shoulders and he wears a dark beaded bracelet on his wrist. Beside him a plate of pink flower petals sits on the brick edge, and a brass spoon-like ladle rests in a blue bowl in the foreground. Behind him is a tiered golden offering stand with a small kalasha-style pot and scattered petals, with gilded deity figures on pedestals and a purple cushioned seat at right. The scene suggests a homa or fire offering inside a temple hall.

A homa fire burns in a brick fire pit at left, with a priest in a bare-chested state, wearing a blue head cloth, a green-striped shawl over his shoulder and rudraksha beads, feeding offerings into the flames with a stick. A second man in white dhoti stands at left holding a brass bell. Behind, a seated figure on a gold-and-red throne wears a saffron robe, a large gold necklace and rudraksha malas; an appearance-based a person candidate. Foreground shows coconuts wrapped in white-and-maroon cloth, garlanded with yellow marigolds, fruit and brass bowls, with a golden statue behind and a wooden cabinet in the background.

A homa fire burns inside a square fire pit built of yellow-orange bricks in an indoor hall with cream walls and black stone ledges. A man in white dhoti and shawl with a white sacred thread stands behind the fire, holding a red cloth offering over the flame. Beside him, a figure in saffron-orange robes, an orange turban and a rudraksha mala holds a silver plate of flowers and petals. Several other monks in orange robes stand behind them. A cameraman with a tripod films the scene at left, and white and pink flower garlands with red roses decorate the right foreground along with a brass kalasha and oil lamps.

A photograph of a homa fire pit built of yellow bricks, with flames rising from it, inside a room with a wood floor. A man in a rust-red and gold turban and matching red-orange dhoti and shawl stands at left, bare-armed, holding a small ritual vessel above the fire. Behind him on a purple cloth-covered altar stand three statues: a bald figure in saffron robes at left, a figure in white with a trident at centre, and a female figure in a red sari at right. The altar is garlanded with marigold and pink flower strings. A gold and red velvet throne stands at left, and brass plates, bowls and banana leaves are arranged on the floor.

Photograph of a courtyard homa ceremony at night. A seated man on an ornate golden throne with red cushions and a red rug wears an orange-red robe and a white tripundra, hands folded in his lap. In front of him, a priest in orange-red cloth, bare-chested with white markings on his arms and a rudraksha mala, leans over a yellow brick fire pit with a bright flame and reaches toward a metal bowl. Striped woven mats cover the floor, and offerings with fruit, flowers and decorated bundles sit nearby. An orange turban and a wooden carved cabinet appear in the background.
