Night ritual scene under a dark corrugated roof with red pillars and a colourful fringed canopy at top left. In the centre, a man with swept-back dark hair and a red shawl over saffron-orange robes stands barefoot with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes lowered. Beside him, a man in white ritual cloth with gold borders holds a small vessel. At right, a priest in yellow and maroon garments holds a brass aarti lamp with a flame toward the seated figure. Two camera operators in white stand at left filming, and smoke rises in the background. Appearance-based cues include the swept-back hair, red shawl and saffron robes, so the central figure is a probable Swamiji in an in-person ritual setting; the aarti is performed by a priest. Ritual: aarti.2011-12-24July 07 20092009-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 09 20092009-07-09July 07 20092009-07-07July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on a paved courtyard, hands pressed together in namaskar at chest height with eyes closed. He wears a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over his shoulders and torso, and has a white tilak with a red dot on his forehead and dark hair tied back. Behind him stands a red-framed wooden cart with large wheels and a striped cloth on its bed. A small brass vessel sits on the ground at the lower left. Swamiji (probable): the saffron robe, swept-back hair and sannyasi presentation are visible cues, so the seated man is a probable candidate for Swamiji.2011-01-21A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on a paved outdoor surface, eyes closed, palms pressed together in anjali mudra at chest level. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and body, a white tilak-style mark and a red dot on his forehead, and his dark hair is pulled back into a bun. Behind him is a white wooden cart with large spoked wheels, red metal shafts and a striped cloth draped over its frame. A brass vessel is partly visible at the lower edge of the frame, and a faint purple logo appears at the upper left.2011-01-21A man with swept-back dark hair stands in a photograph with his palms pressed together at chest level in anjali mudra, gazing upward to the side. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment draped over one shoulder and a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, with a small red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, blurred figures in white with yellow shawls stand with hands folded, and a patterned red and blue temple column and a metal railing appear in the background. Under the description of the scene, this appears to be a photo of a devotee in a temple setting, with a person as the subject because of the saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and flowing hair.2010-08-28A standing man in orange-saffron robes stands barefoot on a green mat in a dimly lit hall, palms pressed together in anjali mudra with eyes lowered. He wears a draped orange shawl over the body and a red-orange dhoti, with a small vertical mark on his forehead. Behind him in the dark doorway two other people in orange robes stand, one with a red-orange garment and a beaded mala. A tall stand light and a cream-draped table with gold fringe sit at right.2009-07-19May 04 20122012-05-04February 15 20132013-02-15A man with long, swept-back dark hair stands with palms pressed together in anjali mudra at chest height, eyes closed, in front of a seated audience.
