A deity murti of Dakshinamurthy, orange-painted with garlands, sits in an arched white stone niche on a red-flower-covered platform. A man in orange robes with long dark hair, a gold-coloured headband and a shawl stands with hands in anjali mudra on a black polished stone floor, facing the shrine. Beside him, another man in orange holds a brass plate. Behind them, a row of people in white dhotis and a woman in a white sari with a green border stand in devotion, while kolam rangoli designs decorate the ground. Scenes like this suggest a puja or darshan at the shrine.2010-12-27December 23 20082008-12-23
