A photograph of devotees arranging a floral rangoli-style design on the ground before a white stepped base or pedestal. Three people are visible: a woman in white with a long braid bending over the flower pattern at left, a partly visible woman in white at upper left, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and bangles on his wrists, kneeling at right and placing marigold and rose petals. The design is a circular flower pattern with yellow marigolds, red roses and green leaves arranged around white petal shapes. Loose petals and a blue plastic sheet lie nearby, and the white base above is decorated with purple, yellow and red flower garlands.

A photograph of a floral arrangement at the base of a white stone platform. A man kneels on the right in a white shirt and white dhoti, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a wristwatch, placing red roses and green leaves into a large flower mandala of yellow marigolds and red blooms. A woman in a blue-and-white sari beside him, wearing gold bangles, places flowers on the same design. Purple and yellow flower garlands line the white platform above. Two other people are partly visible at the left edge. The scene suggests a paada puja offering of flowers.

Two devotees in white ritual clothing kneel on the ground beside a white stepped base decorated with rows of yellow, orange and purple marigold and flower garlands. A woman with a long grey braid, wearing a white sari with gold border, a rudraksha-style bead necklace and bangles, arranges yellow flowers around a grey stone slab. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels opposite her, also placing flowers on the slab. Green leaves and marigold petals frame the stone.

Outdoor photo of a flower-decorated samadhi or memorial platform at an ashram-style site. Orange, yellow, red and pink marigold and gerbera garlands and loose petals trace the edges of a pale concrete platform. A man in a checked shirt crouches at the left edge arranging petals, and another man in a grey shirt stands behind holding a pink plastic-wrapped bundle. A blue tarpaulin covers an object near the back, and scattered plastic bags, wrappers and stems lie on the ground at right. Red and white bunting and a red canopy frame the scene, with palm-trunk poles at the right edge.

A photograph of an outdoor ritual area on bare reddish earth. In the upper centre a white chalk kolam, a symmetrical floral-geometric design, surrounds a central motif decorated with red and yellow flowers. In the foreground, rows of yellow marigold flowers and red petals cover stone steps, arranged in a stepped pattern. On the right stands a man in white dhoti and shirt with a saffron-orange shawl over his shoulder; other people in white dhotis are partly visible at the top edges, with bare feet visible. The scene suggests a festival preparation with floral offerings.

Five women sit cross-legged on a paved ground stringing yellow marigold flowers into garlands. Several wear white or cream sarees and salwar-style white outfits, one in a cream saree with a gold border and a white name badge, another in white with a shawl over her head. One woman in a white top with a red-and-gold embroidered neckline sits at the front right, and a woman with a long braid in a white saree with red floral borders works at the lower left. Heaps of yellow marigolds and scattered petals cover the ground between them. Their wrists are adorned with gold bangles and some wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. The activity suggests flower garland preparation for a puja or ceremony.

Two women sit on the ground stringing yellow marigold flowers into garlands on an orange cloth beside a steel bowl of loose blossoms. The woman on the left wears a white top and yellow shawl with silver-rimmed glasses and bangles, and holds a long yellow garland. The woman on the right wears an orange shawl, white blouse with green border sari and gold bangles, and threads flowers on a banana leaf. Behind them hang silver tinsel and a brass lamp stand, with a kolam drawn on the floor.

A woman in a white and cream sari with a dark border kneels at a low white-draped altar, arranging yellow and orange flowers and marigold petals, with oranges and red apples placed on it. Behind her to the left, a seated man in ochre-red robes with a long flower garland and a gold necklace sits near a colourful cloth. Other women in white and orange saris stand behind, and a brass vessel is in the foreground. Flowers, fruit and ritual offerings suggest puja preparation.
