A smiling man in a cream turban and white dhoti with a sheer white shawl sits on an ornate red throne with gold carved frame. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace and a gold armlet, with a red bindi on his forehead. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with gold bead necklace leans forward at the lower edge, and a bare-chested man with tilak stands behind the throne. A shaved-headed elder with white body markings sits on a cream chair at the right edge. A large red and green floral backdrop with patterned panels fills the background. The throne seating and ornamented setting suggest a formal public satsang setting.

Behind him hang colourful pleated fabric canopy drapes in pink, green, blue and orange under a tent ceiling. A young person in a green sari stands at the left edge. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept hair, a white turban, gold-bordered white clothing and a gold necklace, consistent with the page's event about the Salem conference.

Another seated person with a green-bordered white cloth is at left, and a partial figure in white is at the lower left. Probable Swamiji, seated on the throne with the garlands, wearing a turban, gold-bordered shawl and a long gold beaded necklace.
