A photo taken on a wide paved road lined with long queues of people walking in the same direction. Many attendees wear yellow, orange and white clothing, and some wear saffron-coloured garments. A row of white canopy tents and banners with red lettering stands along the left side, beside a large blank billboard on a pole. Trees and a tall building appear in the background under a partly cloudy sky. No individual figure can be identified as a person from this view.2024-02-01January 24 20242024-01-24February 01 20242024-02-01February 01 20242024-02-01February 01 20242024-02-01January 24 20242024-01-24Outdoors on a wide paved road, a crowd of devotees queues and walks past a KAILASA Malaysia annadhanam food stall with a banana-leaf canopy and a signboard. Many women wear saffron-yellow and orange saris and salwar kameez, and a woman in front wears a bright pink kurta and black mask and holds a white plate of food. A grey blank billboard with red trim stands above trees under a partly cloudy blue sky. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance; a robed figure in white is visible in the background but his appearance is too uncertain to attribute.2024-02-01Outdoor street scene near a limestone cliff and a blue road sign reading Batu Caves, with a long queue of devotees on an asphalt road. Many women wear bright yellow, orange and red salwar kameez and saris, while men wear casual shirts and trousers. A white tent and blue canopies stand behind the line, and a tall billboard frame and trees frame the upper left. Several people hold paper plates or bags. No identifiable a person figure is visible, so the scene shows ordinary devotees waiting in line.2024-02-01Outdoor photo of a crowd queuing along a paved road beside a large red-and-maroon tent with a banner reading "MALAYSIA AUSHADA ANNADHANAM" and a painted temple-deity image above it. Plastic chairs, small canopy stalls, a tall roadside billboard and street lamps are visible under a partly cloudy sky. Strings of multicoloured pennant flags stretch overhead, and many red flags are carried among the crowd. Two or three ornate decorated carts or palanquins with umbrella-style canopies, one with a golden canopy, carry deity murti figures, and a garland-decorated platform is visible in the centre. Many people stand on motorcycles and scooters at the roadside, with banners and signboards behind the crowd. The scene is a large outdoor procession with ratha-style carts and a public festival atmosphere.2016-04-18
