Three decorated murti figures are seated on a green-draped platform framed with white and multicolour flower garlands: a central deity murti in gold-and-red crown with gold necklaces, flanked by two smaller murtis, one wearing a maroon and gold outfit and one in green and purple with a jewelled crown. Two men stand in front of the platform: one in white dhoti with a green and gold turban-style cap, bending forward with hands on the platform; the other, bare-chested with a lavender shawl, reaching out with a hand toward the murtis. Gold and silver ornamental panels decorate the background.2015-10-18A photograph of a festival stage decorated with gold arches, a fringed canopy and green draping. At left a smiling man in a rust-orange turban, saffron-orange robe, and a heavy rudraksha mala raises one hand in greeting. Behind him, a large deity murti in a white and gold sari-style dress with a gold crown, ornate jewelry and garlands sits on a green-draped seat flanked by two smaller consort murtis in purple and green garments, all heavily garlanded with marigolds and white flowers. The man is a person candidate based on the turban, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala, though his face is not clearly evaluated here.2015-10-18December 10 20152015-12-10 +2 copies
