A photograph of a bustling exhibition stall inside a bright hall with posters on the walls behind. Two men stand at a table draped in red cloth, covered with rudraksha malas, beaded strands and small packets. The taller man wears an orange-and-maroon sannyasi wrap, a long orange-yellow garland, a large gold pendant and a rudraksha necklace, with tilak on his forehead; he leans over the table touching a small object. The second man, bald and bare-chested with an orange shawl, stands beside an open laptop. Behind them, seated people in white and orange clothing sit on a mat, and a standing man in white with an orange shawl stands at the back right. Brass figurines, small jars and a sealed bag of goods sit on the table, with an orange-turbaned doll at the right edge.2015-07-08July 26 20152015-07-26A photograph inside a bright exhibition hall with white walls and hanging display panels. In the foreground a red-draped table holds a vase of orange and pink flowers, trays of rudraksha and beaded malas, small packets, and bottles. A tall man with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala, and a gold-and-bead garland wears a red-and-saffron cloth and stands at the table. Beside him a bald man in an orange shawl and saffron dhoti, with a tilak and bangles, looks down at a laptop. Behind them, devotees in white and saffron sit on the floor, and a small brass figure stands on a side table. The tall man's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2015-07-08A book stall under a red and maroon draped tent at an outdoor event. Three young men in plain white dhoti-style clothing stand behind a table stacked with books and magazines; one wears a white shawl and beaded malas, another wears a mala around his neck. An older man in white stands at the table on the left, looking at a booklet. A large banner on the right shows a smiling man with a saffron-orange turban and a long dark braid, labelled as a portrait. Framed small photographs sit on the table near a red plastic chair.2007-12-12December 12 20072007-12-12February 27 20092009-02-27Night-time photo of a crowded merchandise stall under a corrugated roof. Customers press against a long counter stacked with CD and DVD cases and rows of beaded necklaces, mala strands and bracelets laid out on a white cloth in the foreground, including brown, white, turquoise and red beads. A man in a white shirt leans over the counter reaching for merchandise, and a boy in a checked shirt stands nearby. Behind them, a woman in a gold-bordered sari and other attendants staff the table, and orange flags hang in the background.2010-02-16A photograph inside a white tented hall with red chairs and green floor matting. At a white-draped table in the foreground, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand and examine items laid out on the cloth, including rows of small metal objects and loose rudraksha beads. A man in a striped shirt and dark trousers leans over the table, while an older man in white with spectacles stands at right. A man on the left wears an orange shawl over white clothing. Cardboard boxes are stacked along the left wall, and rows of red chairs fill the background where other people sit.2006-11-25A photograph of a long white-draped stall under a red and orange patterned canopy at an outdoor event. Women in white saris with gold borders and one in red stand along the table, browsing and buying. The table holds stacks of books and booklets, rudraksha malas in dark and orange strands, red beaded items, small gold-toned pendants and packaged cloth. A woman in a red blouse and a woman in white sit or stand at the table, and a man in white with an orange shawl stands on the right. Palm trees and white buildings are visible behind.2009-02-25Inside a thatched-roof pavilion with green tarpaulin walls, a white-draped sales table holds books, booklets, framed and printed photographs, small brass lamps in plastic wrap, and a red rudraksha-style mala coiled on the cloth. Two men stand at the table; the nearer one wears a white dhoti and an orange-saffron shawl over a white shirt, and the other wears white clothing. Behind them, several people in white shirts stand near a long table stacked with boxed merchandise and small packets. Paper pennants strung across the ceiling and fluorescent tubes light the scene. The printed portraits on the table are depictions, not physical people, and the shawled man's identity cannot be determined from appearance.2006-11-04Photograph inside a large white tent with red swag draping along the ceiling edge and red-and-white patterned curtains behind a long white-covered table. Many men and women in white ceremonial clothes stand and browse stacks of books and magazines laid out on the table. In the foreground a woman in a grey-and-cream sari stands at the left edge, and near the right a seated man in a saffron-orange shawl over white dhoti sorts printed material at a plastic chair. Cardboard boxes sit on the green floor mat, and spotlights hang from the tent canopy. The page describes a yoga program, but the image itself shows a book table with books, not a yoga session.2006-11-26A photograph of a counter at an indoor event with a table covered in religious goods: brass bells, small brass lamps, rudraksha and bead malas, and boxed items. A bald man with a yellow tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange wrap, rudraksha mala and armband, sits at the table looking down. Beside him a woman in a white sari with blue and gold borders stands at a laptop, one hand on a black bag. Other people sit in the background near red-draped tables.2015-07-02
