In the foreground a white banner reads TORONTO KAILASAM in bold black letters. Beside it, a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure is garlanded with orange and red marigold flowers. Five women sit on the floor on rugs: one in black, one in a red sari, two in white and cream with long hair, and one in white with a rudraksha-style necklace who is smiling and gesturing. A brass thali with offerings, a small kalasha-like vessel and a covered plate sit on a low table. Chairs are stacked against the back wall.2013-01-25Women sit cross-legged on the floor in a hall with red curtains, hands pressed together in prayer. In the foreground, brass oil lamps, a brass plate of flowers and offerings, and small cups sit on a cloth in front of them. The women wear white, red, and yellow saris and garments, with a red shawl on one, and a woman in yellow and white holds her palms together. Devotees are seated behind them. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person, and no figure is visibly presented as such in this image.2012-02-09April 14 20122012-04-14A hall with a tiled floor where a group of women sits cross-legged on mats in a pujas-style setting. In the foreground a woman in a cream and red patterned sari with a gold-bordered pallu sits with hands together. Beside her a woman in orange and pink clothes sits behind a tray of brass and steel plates holding flowers, fruit and small offerings. Other participants wear white kurtas and orange saris, and one older woman in a brown and gold sari sits at the right. Brass oil lamps and small plates line the orange cloths on the floor. Behind them a gilded deity murti sits on a raised altar near red curtains, and a tall mirror reflects the room.2010-12-27April AF 2012February 02 20132013-02-02
