January 04 20092009-01-04A photograph of a seated figure in orange-red robes on an ornate golden throne backed by a large golden hooded-cobra canopy, with garlands of yellow and red flowers draped on the throne sides and a golden tree-like backdrop behind. A devotee in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels before him with palms pressed together, and the seated figure rests a hand on the devotee's head in blessing. The figure has long dark hair, a tilak on the forehead, and a red thread on the wrist; the scene looks like a darshan or blessing ceremony. Probable Swamiji by appearance: long swept-back hair, saffron-orange robes, and a ceremonial throne with canopy. Two people are visible.2009-01-04A photograph of a kneeling devotee in white shirt and white dhoti bowing with his head touching the forehead of a seated figure in orange-saffron robes. The seated figure sits beneath a golden multi-hooded naga (serpent) canopy and a gilded tree-like structure with gold leaves, decorated with yellow and red marigold garlands. Potted orange and red flowers stand at the sides. The seated figure has long dark hair and a tilak mark, consistent with a sannyasi receiving darshan; appearance suggests a person seated on a throne-like seat, though identity is uncertain from the image alone.2009-01-04January 03 20092009-01-03A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions, wearing a white and red flower garland and a red tilak on his forehead. He raises his right hand in blessing over the head of a man in a grey kurta who bows forward with his hands pressed on the seated man's arm. Brass oil lamps and orange drapes stand behind the throne. The seated figure, with a red tilak on the forehead, touches the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti, whose hand rests on the figure's arm. A backdrop of painted green foliage fills the background. The figure has long, swept-back dark hair and orange robes, but the page does not establish identity and face-based identification is not possible, so the a person candidacy is unsure.2008-10-18 +1 copiesFebruary 03 20092009-02-03January 04 20092009-01-04January 18 20092009-01-18Photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red robe and long swept-back dark hair with a red bindi, placing both hands on the head of a kneeling devotee in a white kurta with a textured zigzag pattern.
