Night procession along a red carpet lit by overhead lamps. Two saffron-robed sadhus walk in the centre, each wearing a garland; the one nearer the camera has an orange head covering and a white-and-orange flower garland, and the other has a white-bearded face with a white garland. Behind them a man in white holds a lit oil lamp, and several men in white dhotis and shirts walk in the procession. Ornate gold-and-red ceremonial umbrellas with tasselled edges and a peacock-like emblem frame the scene at left and right, and a white fringed umbrella rises above the centre. A man in white at the right wears a rudraksha-style mala and a beaded necklace. Foreground men in white shirts and white dhotis lead the group; the scene reads as a ceremonial procession.
