A photograph of a devotional blessing in a small indoor room. A bare-chested figure in a red-and-orange dhoti-style wrap with a rudraksha mala draped across the chest and neck is raising a hand toward the forehead of a young man in white who kneels, holding a red fruit in cupped hands. The figure has a long dark hair bun. Nearby, an elderly woman in a cream sari with a red and white flower garland and a rudraksha mala looks on, and a man in white with an orange cloth stands behind. On a table draped in orange cloth sit bananas, a plate of fruit, a small bowl and a white electric fan. Orange curtains and a framed picture appear at the right edge, and other devotees stand in the background.2014-07-04 +2 copiesJuly 03 20142014-07-03A photograph of a devotional blessing scene in a hall decorated with garlands and a gold-coloured throne. A seated figure in a rust-orange turban, orange robe and bare upper body, with a gold ornament at the neck, extends a hand to rest on the head of a child in white and pink. A woman in a rust-orange sari with a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark holds a small white cloth nearby. Other women in white and orange saris, a girl in a white dress with a necklace, and a man in white with a gold-bordered shawl stand close behind, many with their hands joined or pressed together. A gold lion-shaped armrest is visible at the lower left.2015-11-22November 22 20152015-11-22May 31 20152015-05-31July 04 20142014-07-04 +1 copiesFebruary 08 20132013-02-08A saffron-robed man with long dark hair tied back and a gold-beaded necklace places his right hand on the shaved head of a young boy in a white shirt and red-and-black beaded necklace. The boy kneels with palms pressed together. Beside them, a woman in white with a dark beaded mala and orange-patterned shawl watches, and several girls in white with orange shawls stand behind. A golden deity murti and red draped cloth frame the scene, with a white fan at right. The saffron-robed man is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold beads and saffron clothing, placing his hand on the boy's head in a blessing.2015-07-19September 20 20152015-09-20June 24 20142014-06-24 +2 copiesJune 26 20142014-06-26Photo of a seated robed figure in saffron-orange clothing with a red and green flower garland and beaded rudraksha-style bracelets, whose hand rests on the head of a young man in a white collared shirt who bows forward. Another person in orange and beads reaches toward his feet. In the foreground a large gold lion-headed carved seat or throne armrest is visible. Behind them are seated devotees in white and orange, and a green tent or canopy setting with an ornate gold-trimmed backdrop. The gesture suggests a blessing or initiation moment. The seated robed figure's appearance is not clearly identifiable from this angle, so no identification is made.2015-07-26
