A white board on the left shows a green and yellow concentric circle diagram labelled in Tamil. A cameraman in white clothes stands beside a tripod camera in front of the stage. A central figure sits on an ornate gold throne with a canopy, wearing orange robes, a saffron-orange shawl and orange beaded necklaces; a backdrop shows a temple-style deity image. Below the stage a man in orange robes sits cross-legged at a microphone at left, lamps stand on either side of the throne, and video cameras on tripods film the stage. Many people in white clothing sit on the glossy floor in rows, reflected in its surface, with a few in colourful saris at right.2011-01-29 +2 copiesPhotograph of a large hall with many seated women and girls on mats facing a stage. Most wear white, pink, blue and teal saris and have long braided hair; a few sit on chairs at the back. On the stage, a golden throne with ornate gilt canopy sits before a large framed portrait of a bald man in orange robes, with a red-and-gold curtain beside it. A projection screen shows a green and yellow concentric circle diagram. Visible people number around forty, mostly seated.2012-09-20A seated audience of men in white shirts and dhotis faces a stage in a hall during a satsang. On an ornate golden throne at the back sits a figure in yellow robes, shown on a raised dais beneath a painted backdrop of a temple-like archway. A decorative golden canopy hangs above the throne. Two stage monitors and a camera on a tripod are set up at the front, and a few orange-robed monks sit to the right near the stage. Colourful woven banners with diamond patterns hang from the ceiling on both sides. The figure on the throne appears to be a statue, not a living person, since it is a deity-like murti or depiction rather than a present individual, so the a person field is set to depiction.2011-02-01September 22 20122012-09-22November 10 20102010-11-10 +1 copies
