In the centre foreground a man in a pale green kurta and white dhoti sits cross-legged with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes closed, with a red tilak on his forehead and glasses. To his left a man with hair tied up and a red sacred thread across his bare chest sits writing in a notebook, and behind them several people in saffron and orange robes sit on the floor. The mood is a quiet, reverent gathering during a sitting programme.2016-08-14 +1 copiesNovember 27 20112011-11-27November 30 20112011-11-30A photograph of devotees at a gold-ornate shrine. A woman in a cream sari with a green and gold border and a dark rudraksha-style bead necklace kneels at left with palms pressed together, eyes lowered. Beside her a man in a white shirt with a dark mala around his neck and a gold bangle holds his hands together in prayer. A young boy in white kneels in the lower centre, head bowed. At right, a pink lotus flower rests on a gold pedestal beside a glass bowl, and a woman in a green top is partly visible at the edge. Ornate gold carved panels and a gold altar frame fill the background. Three people are visible, all in prayer postures.2011-09-15December 20 20152015-12-20Indoor photograph at a Kalpataru programme with warm, dim lighting. A bare-chested-looking figure in a sleeveless orange saffron garment with hair tied back presses his hand on the head of a woman in a green and pink sari with gold jewellery, her eyes closed as she receives the blessing. A man in a patterned brown shirt with a rudraksha-style bead necklace stands beside her with palms joined in namaste, watching, while another person in glasses appears in the background. Four people are visible.2009-09-12Close photo of a man in a teal kurta in the right foreground, smiling and holding a red apple cupped in both hands while leaning forward toward an outstretched hand entering from the left. Behind him a woman in a white and teal outfit with a tilted head, and a blurred woman in white with glasses and an orange shawl, stand in a softly lit indoor room with a plant. A red-clad arm is visible at the left edge. The scene suggests a seated class or gathering with fruit being passed, with no visible deity, throne or ritual setting.2011-11-06
