Photograph of a stage event with a seated man in saffron-orange robes on an ornate gilded throne with a canopy, one hand raised to his chin, bare feet resting on a footstool. Two women flank him on the stage: on the left a woman in white with an orange sash and mala beads covers her eyes with both hands; on the right a woman in a yellow top and white pants with a mala also covers her eyes. Behind them are white drapes with orange valances and tall floral arrangements of orange, red and yellow blooms, with a stage light on the right.2009-GLIMPSES-OF-VARIOUS-EVENTS2009-YOGAM-TOUR-LOS-ANGELESA seated figure in an orange-saffron robe sits cross-armed on an ornate gold throne with a gilded canopy and lion-like armrests, centred on a stage. A microphone stands before him. Flanking him, a woman in white with a saffron-orange shawl sits cross-legged on the left with one hand raised to her forehead, and a woman in white and a yellow vest with beaded necklaces sits cross-legged on the right. Tall floral arrangements in urns, orange drapery, white curtains and a stage light frame the scene.2009-YOGAM-TOUR-LOS-ANGELESPhotograph of a stage event with an orange and white draped backdrop and two floral arrangements. A central figure sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with a gilded canopy, wearing saffron/orange robes, long dark hair, and a bindi. Two women sit on the stage floor in meditation pose on either side: the woman on the left wears white with an orange shawl and a rudraksha-style mala, eyes closed, hands resting on her knees; the woman on the right wears a yellow and white outfit with a long dark braid and a beaded mala, eyes closed, hands open. A microphone stand and stage lights are visible. Appearance of the central figure is consistent with the a person-style presentation cues (long hair, saffron robes, throne, rudraksha mala) but is not conclusive.2009-YOGAM-TOUR-LOS-ANGELES2009-YOGAM-TOUR-LOS-ANGELESFebruary 15 20092009-02-15A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, hands raised in front of his chest in a mudra. He wears a white and green flower garland with a red floral garland at his neck. Behind him stand two gilded deity murti, one crowned and one with a crown, framed by large pink and lavender lotus-shaped backdrops and green foliage. Orange and white floral arch decorations frame the stage. Two draped white-covered side tables flank the throne, each holding fruit. The stage is a ceremonial satsang setting.2009-07-17October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesA seated man in white dhoti with bare chest and a gold-beaded mala necklace sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne (peetha) at centre stage, hands raised in a gesture of greeting or blessing. Long dark hair falls to his shoulders and a tilak mark is on his forehead; the throne is framed by a semicircular arch of fresh marigolds and roses in red, orange, yellow and white over gold drapery. Two women in white saris with saffron-orange shawls sit with palms pressed together on the left, and three more women in white and orange sit on the right, all in prayer posture. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by the distinctive long hair, rudraksha-style gold mala and ceremonial throne; the seated figure is presented as the teacher of a satsang gathering on a white-draped stage.2010-12-06
