At the centre sits a deity murti dressed in white and saffron cloth with flower garlands. Behind it hangs a framed portrait of a man in orange robes with long dark hair. A man in saffron clothing stands on the float with a rudraksha mala, looking toward the float's base. Below, a man in a white shirt and orange shawl takes a photo with a phone, and several men in white shirts stand near a table of fruit, a brass kalasha-style vessel and offerings. A smiling man in the centre wears a cream and gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, and a gold necklace, and raises one hand in greeting. Around him, several saffron-robed sannyasis with long hair and rudraksha malas walk alongside, one carrying a silver tray with flowers and a red cloth. Behind them stands an ornate golden palanquin or ratha decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands, colourful tassels and gold bells under a red canopy. A man in white with a yellow shawl and a mala walks at the left edge, and bald devotees in white appear at the right and back.2010-01-01Outdoor evening procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees and a corrugated roof. A golden palanquin with a carved crown, garlands of orange, yellow and purple flowers and hanging tassels is carried on a wooden cart with orange cloth. A seated figure in orange robes waves from the palanquin. In front, a man in a tall ornate headdress and orange dhoti holds a lamp aloft. Behind them, men in white dhotis and red-orange robes walk with folded hands. On the right, a seated man with swept-back dark hair, wearing a gold-yellow shawl over white dhoti and a long gold-bead necklace, sits on a golden throne heaped with yellow and red flower garlands and smiles while holding a fruit. Behind him a younger man in orange robes and a garland holds a basket of mangoes or apples. Nearby, several saffron-robed sannyasis and a bearded man in an orange turban kneel or stand, and a white-clad devotee with folded hands bends low before the seated figure. Other people in white and yellow clothes stand at the edges, and a small child is visible at the lower right of the throne. The seated man has distinctive long swept-back hair, a gold shawl and ornate gold necklaces on a golden throne, a compatible presentation, so this is.2010-01-01
