In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti with a saffron-orange shawl and red lanyard lifts food with his right hand; beside him a bearded man in white with glasses also eats. Behind them a figure in white holds a steel vessel, and further devotees in white with red lanyards sit along the floor. Leaves hold rice, vegetable curries, pickles and sweets, with steel bowls nearby. The setting suggests an ashram annadan meal.
