Beside him, a bearded man with glasses wears orange robes and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace and sits with hands folded. A tall gold staff with an orange canopy stands to the right. Seated devotees in orange and red garments surround the pit, some with brass bowls and offerings. Behind them, a framed portrait labelled 'Paramahamsa Nithyananda' is garlanded with flowers. Men in white with yellow shawls stand at the right and lower right, and banana plants and leaf festoons decorate the tent. A brass vessel with flowers sits in the lower left.2009-09-25A seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and a purple-and-pink flower garland sits on a red-and-white patterned mat in a open-sided pavilion with a corrugated metal roof decorated with hanging green leaf strands. Beside him a younger man in orange with a gold necklace sits at the right, and another orange-clad attendant sits behind. A seated audience in white and pastel saris and kurtas fills the left, behind a stainless-steel railing on a red carpet. Golden trident and staff-like finials stand near the back, and framed banners hang on the wall. A yellow-and-red floral floor rangoli lies in front of the mat.2008-12-31
