Most wear white dhotis or white shirts with gold-bordered cloth, and many hold oil lamps or diyas toward small brass plates with offerings and flowers on mats. A man in the foreground left with a shaved head and white dhoti holds a lit lamp; a shaved-headed young man in white with a yellow-bordered shawl and rudraksha mala lifts a flame in the centre. Behind them, young boys in colourful shirts sit among the adults. Framed portraits hang on the back wall beside red curtains, and a large screen is mounted above. Brass oil lamps with lit flames and small brass vessels are arranged on the floor before them. Behind, a wide crowd of seated people, many in white, yellow and red clothing, fills rows separated by white candle-like posts. Tall windows and a red hanging are visible at the back. No single person is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the central figures are described only by role as priests and devotees.2011-12-01May 16 20132013-05-16A large hall filled with a seated congregation of many people dressed in white ritual clothes, many wearing lanyards, performing a sacred lamp ritual. Rows of seated devotees fill the floor: many men in white kurta-style clothes with saffron-orange shawls, and women in white and orange saris. Several young boys in white and orange sit in front on white-draped raised seats along a yellow-edged mat. A cameraman with a tripod stands near the front left, and a few people in white stand at the back near the stage area.
