A large crowd of devotees stands in an open-sided pavilion under a metal frame strung with white and orange flower garlands and yellow hanging beads. Many people press their palms together in anjali, facing forward. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis, some with orange shawls and rudraksha malas, while women wear saris in yellow, cream, purple and green. Drums and a decorated structure are visible at the left and right edges, with colourful painted panels behind. Several people, including a young boy in an orange shawl, appear in the foreground, and a man in white at right holds his hands together.

Outdoor photograph of a group of saffron-robed sannyasis walking along a paved path beneath a marigold garland canopy decorated with white flower strings and palm-leaf thatch. In front, a bald man in orange robes with a scarf raises one hand while looking up. Behind him, bearded and shaven-headed monks in orange follow, and a central monk wears a dark rudraksha mala and holds his hands together. Men in white shirts and dhotis, some carrying a folded orange cloth, stand alongside. A white building with arched blue-trimmed windows and a balcony behind them has an orange-clad figure in its doorway. Roughly fifteen to twenty people are visible.

A crowd moves through a narrow street in front of a green-painted building. In the centre, a bare-chested man in an orange cloth wears a long white flower garland with red blossoms and a gold ornament, and a saffron turban; this figure has distinctive saffron clothing and a turban, consistent with the a person label for this photo. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and orange shawl with a rudraksha-style mala walks ahead. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis, some with necklaces, press close, and women in saris stand in the background. A man in the foreground in a white shirt looks on. A devotee raises a hand, and a horn-like instrument is held aloft at the top right.

Outdoor courtyard ritual in front of a white building. A young man kneels on a striped green and pink mat, tending a brass oil lamp (deepa) and a small brass vessel with a spoon, with a silver tray of offerings nearby. Behind him, a figure in a white dhoti and shawl with a gold-coloured border and a white turban, wearing a gold necklace, walks forward; the figure's face is turned away. Behind them, a row of men in white kurtas and dhotis stand with hands folded in namaskar, some wearing orange shawls. A woman in white stands among them, and a man watches from a balcony above. Rangoli designs are drawn on the ground at right, and a potted tree and black iron gate complete the setting.
