Overhead photo of a home puja set-up on a woven mat over a wooden floor. A brass plate holds a small clear crystal shivalinga on a yoni base, with a lit oil lamp beside it. A printed cutout of a saffron-robed figure with a crown-like headwrap, rudraksha-style beads and raised hand stands behind the altar, above a brass-framed shrine. Brass bowls, a conch shell, a small bell and an incense holder are arranged around. Offerings include a brass bowl of almonds and dates, a bowl of white grains, and a plate of yellow marigolds with a pink rose. Rose petals are scattered on the floor.

A photograph of a home puja altar on a wooden floor with a woven mat. At the centre, a small brass tray holds a clear crystal shivalinga on a yoni base, and behind it a small figure of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with a matching orange turban and layered beaded necklaces, hands raised in a blessing gesture, is a depiction of a deity or sage rather than a person. A lit brass oil lamp burns to the right, and an incense stick smokes at the left. Nearby are a white conch shell, a brass bell with handle, a brass spoon in a small cup, small brass bowls, and a brass plate with green fruit, bananas, almonds and yellow marigolds. A gilded ornate base of a seat is visible at the top. No people are present.

Around it are brass plates heaped with red rose petals, a brass plate with folded white cloth, two green-yellow mangoes, a white conch shell, a brass bell, small brass cups and bowls, red and yellow powders, a brass spoon, and two lit oil lamps with flames. No physical people are visible.
