A man in the centre wears a red turban, a saffron-red robe with gold border, a long gold-bead garland and a cross-shaped pendant, and is smiling as he walks. Beside him a bald man in red-gold robes and rudraksha malas looks at a small device in his hand. Women in deep red saris with gold borders and rudraksha malas walk alongside, one carrying a long silver staff, another holding a large ornate golden fan-shaped parasol. A young woman in white and a girl in white with rudraksha beads also appear. Several people are partially visible in the foreground, with more people in the background.2015-11-16July 06 20162016-07-06Night procession under a large canopy with red, yellow and blue tassels held on a long gold pole. A man in a crown-like silver and black headdress with a crescent ornament, rust-red dhoti and shawl, gold necklace and bracelets walks centre-front on striped mats, hands folded. Beside him a man in an orange turban and bare chest carries a pink-and-white decorated kalasha with a green plant. Devotees in orange and red robes and white saris stand with palms pressed together along the right side. Drummers in orange cloth play on the left. In the centre, a smiling man with swept-back dark hair and a tilak wears a rust-orange robe, a rudraksha mala with a gold ceremonial necklace, and holds a red staff topped with a golden finial. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas walk, some carrying a red staff and one with a bare chest and gold armband. Behind them stand people in saffron-orange robes, drums and cloth bundles are visible on the right, and the background shows a gilded panel and white-walled stage area. Presentation cues for the central figure are distinctive, so this is a person in person.2016-04-17 +1 copiesJune 03 20162016-06-03November 23 20172017-11-23April 24 20162016-04-24 +1 copiesMay 19 20132013-05-19A photograph of three people in a tent or hall walking on a colourful striped woven rug.
