A photograph of a procession on a dirt road between rustic buildings and palm trees. Several drummers lead, including a man in white dhoti and yellow cloth beating a drum on his left and another man in white beating a drum slung over his shoulder. A man in a red shirt plays a long wind instrument, and a man in white on the right plays a horn-like wind instrument. Behind them, a group of saffron-robed sannyasis and white-clad devotees walk, some carrying decorated ceremonial umbrellas with colourful fringes and a striped red and blue canopy overhead. A white tent and stacked sacks stand to the right. Roughly twenty people are visible in the procession.

A festival procession moves along a dirt road lined with palm and banana trees under a clear sky. In the foreground, several drummers wear yellow head cloths, leopard-print sleeveless tops and green fringed ornaments; they play large drums with orange cloth draped over them and small cymbals. Behind them, saffron-robed figures walk among people in white dhotis and kurtas, and several bare-shouldered drummers carry blue-and-orange drums. Above the procession are multicoloured umbrellas with ornate yellow and red panels, and strings of colourful bunting stretch overhead. A white vehicle is visible at the upper left.

A dirt-road procession in dry scrubland with trees. Drummers lead: a man in white dhoti and shirt carries a green-and-white drum, and a man in a brown shirt carries a drum with red and gold trim. A woman in a grey-green sari with a red border walks beside them. Behind, a man in white with a horn walks near a person in orange robes wearing a white floral garland, under a red-and-white fringed parasol. Several people in white and orange clothing follow. Umbrellas with coloured fringe and a standard appear overhead, and a man in white at the left holds a pole with a fringed canopy.

Musicians lead: a woman in a red and gold sari plays a long wind instrument with a bell-shaped end, a man in white dhoti and shirt with a gold-bordered green cloth plays a similar horn, and a man in a rust-orange shirt beats a hand drum. Other men in white dhotis and shirts walk behind, and ornate decorated parasols in red, pink and gold canopy the procession. Strings of bunting hang overhead.

A photograph of a street procession with a group of musicians and attendants. In the foreground, a man in a yellow shirt and white dhoti plays a long brass horn called a nadaswaram-style wind instrument, and another man in a yellow shirt blows a similar horn. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti beats a large barrel drum with gold-banded rims. Behind him, a man holds a tall orange and red ceremonial banner with a floral embroidered design, and a bare-chested attendant in orange dhoti, with ornate gold-toned necklaces and a shawl, holds a long pole. Other people in white and orange clothing, some with white and red forehead marks, stand nearby, and a red-walled building with palm trees is in the background.

A street procession on a dusty road during a Brahmotsavam celebration in Bidadi. A central figure in a flowing orange robe with a long beaded necklace walks at the centre, flanked by devotees in white kurtas and dhotis. Drummers in leopard-print tunics and yellow headcloths beat large drums with orange cloth draped over them. Several attendants carry tall, colourful decorated parasols in red, yellow and green with teardrop motifs. A bright multicoloured banner with floral patterns hangs at upper left, and orange flags flutter at the right beside a concrete structure and palm trees under a clear blue sky.
