Photograph of a stage event with a red carpet. On the right, a seated figure in red-orange robes and a long rudraksha-style mala sits on an ornate golden throne with carved red-gold backrest and a trident-topped finial, extending one hand toward two men. Two men stand on the left in white dhotis and shawls, palms pressed together in greeting; the man on the left has a long dark wrap over his shoulder. A tall red-brown pillar and a small trident stand behind them. A small table with offerings and a brass lamp is in the foreground. The seated figure's identity is not established by visible cues, so this is a person on a throne rather than a confirmed a person.2016-04-22Photograph of an initiation ceremony on a stage at the Ujjain Kumbh Mela.
