He has long dark hair and a tilak on his forehead and is smiling. He is flanked by several men in white dhotis and shawls with gold borders, most with shaved heads and white forehead markings, and one holds a brass tray of flowers. A young man in white dhoti with gold border, bare-chested, holds a silver vessel with a plant sprig and a flowered offering. Beside him, a shaved-headed priest in rust-red robes with gold-bordered cloth, rudraksha malas and tilak touches a small object near his ear, while another rust-robed man holds a plate of garlands and red flowers. Behind, women in orange saris with rudraksha malas and a golden trident and ceremonial staffs are visible.
