A temple shrine photographed from behind a devotee in an orange cloth with a dark head covering, who raises both hands to the forehead before the shrine. Inside a gilded arched niche with red drapery sit two seated deity murtis, a figure with raised hands and a crown-like headdress beside a smaller figure, both draped in purple, blue and pink garments with garlands. A stone lingam stands on a stone yoni-pitha base in front, decorated with flower garlands. Standing statues in orange and white garments with garlands flank the niche, and brass oil lamps and offering vessels sit at the base.2018-05-31Temple shrine interior with a dark stone shivalinga at center, flanked by two colorful painted deity murtis seated on a golden arch backdrop with red curtain: a figure in a violet and teal dress holding a trident-like staff, and a figure in a green and pink sari beside him. Garlands of pink, orange and yellow flowers adorn the statues and the lingam altar. On the right, a standing male murti in an orange dhoti and shawl with a red and gold turban. Brass oil lamps and flower-decorated trays sit at the base. In the foreground at right, a shirtless man in an orange dhoti with arms raised overhead performs puja at the shrine. No live audience is visible.2018-05-31A person in a rust-red sannyasi-style cloth with a red garland stands with back to the camera at the base of a stone shrine, facing a richly decorated deity group under a gilded arch with a turquoise backdrop. Central figures include a seated deity with garlands and a crown, flanked by standing statues wearing red and white garments and flower garlands. Brass oil lamps stand on the stone platform before the murtis, and a red velvet curtain hangs to the right. The scene is a temple darshan or puja setting with murti statues rather than living figures.2016-01-24October 05 20172017-10-05A photograph of a temple shrine with carved grey stone pillars and a gilded arch framing two large deity murtis against a red curtain. The murtis wear floral garlands and ornaments, and one holds a raised hand with a ritual implement. In front stands a shaved-headed priest seen from behind, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and a saffron upper cloth draped over the shoulder, facing the shrine. Brass lamps and offering vessels sit on the stone platform, and a smaller garlanded figure stands in a green-backed niche at right.2013-09-16March 02 20182018-03-02A photograph of a temple shrine with large deity statues decorated with garlands and gold ornaments. Two tall figures stand within a gilded arch: one holds a trident-like staff and wears a red crown and jewelry, the other wears a gold crown and a green-and-red garment. A small seated figure with a garland sits in an adjacent green niche. A lone person in an orange-brown cloth, seen from behind with bare shoulders and arm bangles, faces the shrine. A red cloth hangs at left and oil lamps stand on the pedestal. Stone pillars frame the scene. This is a deity murti shrine, not a live ritual with a person visible.2013-01-20March 22 20082008-03-22September 24 20172017-09-24January 25 20132013-01-25A photograph of a shrine inside a temple hall, with gold-framed arch and red curtain behind a deity murti pair seated on a dais, flanked by a gold-clad standing figure with a garland and a standing figure in a red turban and orange wrap, both garlanded with marigolds. A central stone lingam stands in a basin with brass vessels and small offerings. A person in long dark braided hair and an orange-brown robe stands at the right edge with an arm extended toward the shrine, apparently in worship. Rose petals are scattered on the floor.2018-05-30May 30 20182018-05-30
