A seated man with long dark hair and bare upper body, wearing an orange-and-black tiger-striped shawl over a rust-red dhoti and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, sits on an ornate gold throne beneath a red-orange canopy. He extends a folded green leaf offering to a devotee in a white kurta with folded hands, bowing low. A second person in orange clothing sits behind, a plain fan stands on the floor, and banana leaves and rice lie at the foot of the throne. He wears a leopard-print shawl over a peach-coloured robe with yellow trim and a long gold necklace of beads. Behind him stands a bald man in a white shirt and orange scarf. In the foreground at left, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti bends forward near the lamps, appearing to offer a ritual gesture. Dark blue drapes form the background. The lamps and throne suggest a satsang setting, with a probable identification of Swamiji seated on the throne by his distinctive long swept-back hair, gold necklace and saffron-toned robes.2010-12-19A seated man in a leopard-print shawl over orange robes, wearing layered orange and white beaded malas, a gold-pattern bracelet and a white and red forehead mark, gestures with open palm toward a kneeling devotee in a white shirt and orange sash. The devotee bows with hands folded near a silver tray and brass vessels on a fringed white mat. Gilded throne elements, a red and gold canopy with tassels, and a white flower stand behind.
