Behind him stand a large golden bull (Nandi) statue and a garland of yellow and red flowers. To the left, a smiling woman in a blue and white sari with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace watches, and a young girl stands partly visible. A man in white kurta with a lanyard stands before the throne, facing the seated figure with his hands together in front of him. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), seated on the throne in the yellow turban and bare-shouldered dhoti with red shawl and gold armlet; the seated man is a candidate by appearance and is the ceremonial focus.2011-12-01May 27 20152015-05-27August 30 20092009-08-30A photograph of a seated figure on a golden-armed throne with a deep red turban and red-brown saffron robe, rudraksha mala necklaces and a bracelet, smiling broadly. Before him a woman in a white and gold-bordered sari with a red flower garland kneels and speaks, while a man in white dhoti with gold border, bare chest, sacred thread and rudraksha mala stands beside them smiling. Behind the throne are large garlands of yellow marigolds and red flowers, a golden lion-head armrest, a brass oil lamp and a golden deity murti. Several other men in white stand in the background.2015-07-31A photograph inside a temple hall during a ritual. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with red cushions wears a red-and-gold turban, orange garland and red-orange dhoti, with a gold bracelet on the arm. A priest in red-and-gold ritual cloth on the left holds a brass plate of fruit and flowers and dips his hand toward a tray. A kneeling man in white clothes bows before the throne and holds up a folded paper. Three women to the right stand with palms together, wearing white saris, one in an orange sari and one with rudraksha malas. Gold latticed panels and a deep red curtain form the backdrop with hanging bells and green foliage.2014-11-23A seated figure in a red-orange turban and red-orange garment sits on a red upholstered throne before gold-finished ornaments, wearing a thick red and white flower garland and a gold chain. He holds a yellow banana and smiles. The person is an appearance-based Swamiji (probable) candidate: a red-orange turban, ornate gold-chain and garland cues, seated on a throne. Standing to the right, a woman in white with a brown and dark rudraksha mala and a man in white with a brown mala lean in attentively. A kneeling woman in an orange-yellow sari is at the bottom right, and a brass lamp stands nearby with a copper vessel. Beside the seated figure is a gold deity murti of a serpent-like form.2015-11-08October 23 20152015-10-23A photograph of a seated figure in a rust-orange turban and orange-brown robe, wearing a multi-coloured flower garland and gold bangles, placing a hand on the forehead of a young man in a white shirt who bows before him. Behind them stand a woman in a peach sari with an orange shawl, a man in a white shirt and rudraksha mala, a man in a white dhoti with a red garland, and a young man in a white shirt and black trousers wearing a badge. Gold-and-red ornate seating and a red carpet fill the tented setting, with red apples placed near the seat. The figure is shown giving blessing, and the man in the middle wears a rudraksha mala, a distinctive cue, so the appearance matches a person giving darshan.2015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13
