A man in a blue shirt and dark trousers walks up the steps toward the fire, while a small child in a red and white outfit stands at the lower steps beside a pink and gold Ganesha murti seated on a white plinth. Smoke drifts across the scene and a string of multicoloured lights hangs above the doorway.2008-10-01October 01 20082008-10-01October 01 20082008-10-01Outdoor temple scene with a white-painted homa fire pit in the foreground, its square platform steps covered in scattered rose petals and smoke rising from the central pit. Behind it stands a small white shrine with a dark deity murti and a tall copper kalasha-like pillar amid palm trees. On the right, a painted clay Ganesha figure in red, green and gold garments sits beside a brass pot with a mango-leaf arrangement and a yellow-orange cloth covering the foreground, with a multicoloured striped mat beneath. No people are visible.2008-10-01October 01 20082008-10-01October 03 20082008-10-03October 01 20082008-10-01July 26 20142014-07-26A photograph of a man in orange robes standing barefoot on a polished dark stone floor under a rough stone canopy, palms pressed together in namaste before a shrine. The shrine holds a black multi-armed deity murti draped in orange cloth, set within a silver arched frame, on a mound of red-painted stone with a small oil lamp in front. Banyan trees and roots surround the open courtyard. The man has long dark hair and wears a rudraksha-style necklace and an orange dhoti with a red border, matching the orange of the shrine drapery. A pictured-in-scene a person candidate is present but identity is uncertain from appearance, so the figure is described by role as a devotee performing worship.2011-03-05December 31 20112011-12-31August 15 20172017-08-15 +1 copies
