December 25 20062006-12-25August 09 20072007-08-09Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and a dense canopy. In the foreground, a shaven-headed monk in a red-maroon robe stands smiling beside a second monk in orange robes. Opposite them, a figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron wrap over orange lower garments and is barefoot, smiling and facing the monks; this figure has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, so a person is plausible. Behind them, a man in a purple sweater and grey trousers stands and other people in white and casual clothes are partly visible. At right, a red painted stone structure and a stone serpent sculpture sit on a pale paved area with a sandy ground.2006-12-24A photograph of a massive old banyan tree with many thick aerial roots hanging from its wide spreading branches, standing on sandy ground. A man in a long orange robe with an orange shawl stands smiling at the trunk on the right, with long dark hair and a slight build, and appears to be an in_person candidate only by an orange robe and long hair, which is not distinctive enough to confirm identity; he is described as a sannyasi. Two other men in white dhotis with orange shawls stand at the left edge, partly cropped. A purple and white logo appears in the upper left corner.2006-10-07Outdoors beneath a huge old banyan tree with thick hanging aerial roots and a sprawling canopy. In the foreground, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl walks on dry leaf-strewn ground, holding a long wooden walking stick, with his head turned to the side. Beside him stands a younger man in an orange dhoti and shawl with arms folded, next to a man in plain white dhoti and white shawl. Further back to the left, several people in white clothes stand near a small water pool at the tree's base. The setting is a rural temple-grove atmosphere with green leaves overhead. a person candidate visible by appearance: the walking figure in orange shows long swept-back dark hair and distinctive saffron clothing, consistent with the page's description, but the face and presence are not clearly enough established to confirm identity.2006-10-25Outdoor photo beneath a huge spreading banyan tree with dangling aerial roots. In the foreground, a shaved-headed monk in maroon-red robes stands barefoot, talking with a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with bare shoulder, who has long dark swept-back hair and a warm smile. Behind them, another monk in orange robes stands at left. A man in a white shirt and jeans and another in a dark blue top and white dhoti-style clothing stand nearby. At right, a red-painted sculptural base with a carved serpent in grey and white. Sandy ground with wet patches.2006-12-24Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots and a spreading branch, a group of men stands on a reddish-brown dirt ground beside circular raised red-painted platforms. In the centre, a man with long dreadlocked hair wears a rust-orange robe over a bare upper body and holds one arm raised to touch a low branch. Behind him on the left, a man in a white dhoti with a gold border and a rudraksha mala raises one arm. Another man in a purple shirt and black trousers stands nearby, and a man in a pink shirt and teal-green dhoti stands at right. A hand with a white bangle enters the frame in the lower left, pointing toward the group. Ritual or temple-site work appears in progress.2018-02-01A photograph of a large ancient banyan tree with thick aerial roots and sprawling branches at an outdoor shrine. Several people in white and saffron-orange clothing stand on a dark polished stone platform around white-painted raised bases. A man in white with a yellow sash holds a tray of flowers, and a figure in orange robes with a shawl stands near the tree in prayer. Golden poles or lamp stands and white pillars stand nearby, and a trail of flowers rests on the ground.2009-12-27October 10 20102010-10-10 +1 copiesOutdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with dense green leaves at a temple-building site. A man with a long dreadlocked bun, bare chest and a rust-orange wrap stands barefoot on a paved stone path, centred among a ring of about seven people seated and standing around him. Several listeners wear rust-orange and red wraps, rudraksha malas and dreadlocks; one man in a white dhoti and shawl, and a man in a white shirt holding a small object, are also present. A red-cloth-covered table sits at the left edge and a shrine with red decorations is visible behind the tree.2018-02-01August 09 20072007-08-09April 24 20192019-04-24
