2001 - Glimpses From Various Programs2001-01-01 +1 copiesA photograph of a shaved-headed man standing bare-chested and wet, wrapped in an orange-red cloth over his shoulders. He stands with both hands pressed together above his head, eyes closed, in a devotional pose beside a grey rock surface, water dripping from his arms. In the background, a seated person in a brown garment and a folding white chair are partly visible. The setting suggests ritual bathing or abhishekam at a temple.2001-01-012001 - Glimpses From Various Programs2001-01-01June 02 20162016-06-02June 02 20162016-06-02January 30 20102010-01-30June 02 20162016-06-02June 02 20162016-06-02June 02 20162016-06-02June 04 20162016-06-04A photograph of a man standing waist-deep in shallow water, bending forward and cupping water in both hands as it pours through his fingers. He wears a rust-red ochre robe, multiple strands of rudraksha mala around his neck and rudraksha bracelets on his wrists and upper arms, with a long braid down his back and a white and red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, bare-chested men in white dhotis with gold borders stand in the water. The scene suggests a river or sacred bathing ritual. Whether the man in front is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2018-04-28A photograph of a bare-chested man with long dark hair tied back, wearing an orange-red cloth draped over his shoulder and wrapped around his waist, standing waist-deep in river water. He bends forward, smiling, cupping his right hand as water splashes from it, apparently offering water in a riverside ritual. The water is grey-green and sunlit.
